Our Satisfaction Guarantee

We believe you should absolutely love your custom pet portrait. If you're not satisfied with your final artwork, we're here to make it right. Since these are custom, handcrafted portraits created specifically for you, our refund policy reflects the specialized nature of our work.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds for the following reasons:

• Quality Issues: Printing defects, damage, or manufacturing problems with your final product
• Damage During Shipping: Items received in damaged condition
• Dissatisfaction After Revisions: If the portrait still doesn't meet your expectations after we've made reasonable adjustments
• Digital Downloads Not Received: If you don't receive your digital files within the promised timeframe

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot offer refunds in these cases:

• Change of mind about the portrait style, colors, or composition after approval
• Personal preference shifts after receiving your portrait
• Customer error in selecting size, product type, or quantity
• Photo quality was poor but we completed the portrait anyway
• You chose to use an unclear or unsuitable photo

How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Contact us at hello@goodboyportraits.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

Step 2: Include your order number and photos of the issue (if applicable).

Step 3: We'll review your request and respond within 24 hours.

Step 4: If we agree a refund is warranted, we'll process it within 5-7 business days.

Portrait Revisions First

Before requesting a refund, we'd love to try to get your portrait just right. When you receive your preview, you can request up to two rounds of revisions at no additional cost. Common revision requests include:

• Adjusting colors (lighter, darker, warmer, cooler)
• Changing the background or composition
• Adjusting pose or positioning of your pet
• Adding or removing elements

Most customers love their portrait after revisions, so this is always our first step toward satisfaction.

Digital Downloads

Digital portrait files are delivered via email and are non-refundable once received. They're yours to keep and use forever. If you don't receive your files within the promised timeframe, contact us immediately and we'll resend them right away — no refund necessary.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please allow 3-5 additional business days for your bank or credit card company to complete the transaction. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the damage was our responsibility.

Returns & Exchanges

For defective products, we typically offer replacements instead of refunds. If there's a quality issue with a printed product, we'll reprint and reship your item at no charge. For digital downloads, there are no returns or exchanges — you'll have the files forever.

International Orders

International customers have the same 14-day window to contact us about refunds. Refunds are processed in USD to your original payment method. International shipping costs are non-refundable. Customs duties or import taxes paid by you cannot be refunded.
